For the first time in program history, the Arellano University Lady Chiefs sealed consecutive NCAA championships, completing a sweep of the Season 93 Finals after slamming the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers in Game Two, 25-13, 29-27, 25-15, at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

After dominating the first set, the Lady Chiefs leaned on the late heroics of Season 93 Best Opposite Spikers Regine Arocha to rally back in a tightly-contested second set. The Lady Chiefs then blitzed the Lady Red Spikers in the third set, taking a 16-5 lead and never looking back.

Arellano took their third title in four years, only losing one match the entire season.

“Napakasaya kasi, nagbunga, ‘yung program namin. Malking bagay sa amin na masuklian ‘yung suporta sa amin ng admin,” said Obet Javier, Arellano’s head coach in each of their championship years.
