Arellano University's International Nursing Program (INP) was invited by the prominent company “Pearson Test of English (PTE)” to set up a booth at the SM Megamall Mega Trade Hall 3 for the PTE Global Nursing Pathways Expo. The said event was held on July 5, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a great platform for nursing students and professionals to explore international opportunities in the field of healthcare.
The event was attended by Dr. Emerita C. Mendoza, INP Director, together with Ms. Carla May Gonzales, INP Academic Coordinator, and Ms. Catherine Rey, one of the INP staff. The morning session featured informative presentations for aspiring nurses who are contemplating further studies and career opportunities on a global scale. In the afternoon, the participants visited the INP booth, which highlighted various aspects of the International Nursing Program offered at Arellano University through its partnerships with West Virginia University in the US and Edith Cowan University in Australia. Specifically, the booth focused on the benefits of pursuing nursing studies abroad and emphasized the advantages of continuing one's education in international settings, allowing the students to earn an internationally recognized Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The goal is to provide students with a pathway that opens doors to global nursing practice, offering them the chance to study in the US or Australia and contribute to healthcare systems globally.
Ms. Kimberly Cuesta, Business Development Manager of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, is among those who graced the occasion. In addition, Ms. Abegail Cayco, MBA, AU’s Assistant Vice President for Marketing, also visited the INP booth.
Arellano University extended its congratulations for the success of the activity, recognizing it as an important step in creating new opportunities for nursing students. The university looks forward to the positive impact and contributions that the INP students will make in the field of healthcare, especially in international settings.
