  NURSING STUDENTS, FACULTY FROM ALDERSON-BROADDUS COLLEGE ARRIVE FOR 10-DAY VISIT

Four faculty members and 8 nursing students of the Alderson-Broaddus College (AB College) arrived on June 1, 2009 for a ten-day visit in Manila. AB College, situated in West Virginia , USA is the partner of Arellano University in its International Nursing Program (INP).

  CAS Reports Community Development Services for the School Year 2008-2009

Barangay Masilipit in San Miguel, Bulacan, the adopted community of the College of Arts and Sciences of AU in Legarda has been the recipient of several services during the last school year. The activities conducted were done in cooperation with the Office for Community Development of the university.

  AU Alumna Dr. Dolores Bonzon, Pediatrics and Nephrology Specialist Is Commencement Speaker and 2009 Achievement Awardee

Dr. Dolores D. Bonzon, guest speaker and recipient of the AU Achievement Award for 2009 during the 71st Commencement and Completion Exercises is an alumna of Elisa Esguerra High School ( formerly Gregorio Sanciangco High School ) in Malabon. In her speech, she acknowledged that her foundation as a student has been laid in this institution; she relived with nostalgia the fun with classmates and their adventures in the countryside atmosphere of Malabon and nearby Bulacan, and paid tribute to her high school teachers. She gave a ten-point advice on how to attain success, culled from her experiences as a student, a teacher and a doctor.

  Arellano University Salutes 1843 Graduates on Its 71st Commencement and Completion Exercises

In what is considered the biggest graduation ceremony in the history of Arellano University, one thousand eight hundred forty three candidates received their diploma/certificates in the 71st Commencement and Completion Exercises held April 2, 2009 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

  PT Board Exam Results show 100% passing rate for 2 consecutive years

The July 2008 and February 2009 results of the board exam for physical therapists indicate a 100% passing rate for Arellano University’s first takers. This was disclosed by Dr. Jose C. Gabriel, Dean of the Arellano University Institute of Allied Medical Services.

  AU Main 41% passing rate in LET higher than National Average

Dr. Eduardo O. de la Cruz Jr., Dean of the School of Education of Arellano University Main announces that 41% of Arellano University’s first takers passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) conducted in September, 2008. This is higher than the national average which is 35%.
