| AU Team is CAFA Football Fest Champion, Bags MVP Award
 Proving its prowess in its first competition, the AU Football Team was declared Champion in the Cavite Football Association (CAFA) Football Fiesta for Youth (Under 17 Division) in games held in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite last December 19-20, 2009. Alvin Obrero, team captain, was also declared Most Valuable Player.

 A total of 17 medals were brought home by AU’s taekwondo players from the 2009 CAMANAVA Smart National Taekwondo Championship Tournament held at the Colegio Sta. Cecilla on December 13, 2009.

| AU Malabon Contenders Shine in PRISAA Meet
 In the elimination rounds of the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) held November 16-20, AU Malabon players won 2 gold medals in taekwondo, 1 gold in chess, and 1 gold in table tennis.

| Chairman and CEO Francisco P.V. Cayco writes a letter to the Editor of the Philippine Star
 This has reference to the article in the November 25, 2009 issue of The Philippine Star entitled 152 nursing schools face closure for poor board performance and the subsequent article of November 28, 2009 bannered CHED list of poorly performing nursing schools questioned, both written by Rainier Allan Ronda, which included Arellano University Manila and Pasay in the list.

| Arellano dumps WNU, join Sweet 16 with USC
 Arellano University and University of San Carlos registered a 1-2 finish in the zonal qualifying tournament to book a return ticket to the Sweet 16 of the Philippine Collegiate Championship League at West Negros University Gym in Bacolod City.
