 ARELLANO UNIVERSITY OFFERS NEW COURSESPosted July 12, 2011
Arellano University opened new courses for SY 2011-2012 in its four campuses in response to the changing preferences of the students and the growing need of the local and global economy for certain skills and proficiency.
Currently offered in the Main campus are Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSacT), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS), Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT) and Diploma in Midwifery, a 2-year course.
Said new courses were developed through the efforts of OIC Rosenda Huerto of the School of Accountancy; Dean Dalmacio Novela of the School of Bachelor of Library and Information Science for; Dean Glenda Mondiquing of the School of Radiologic Technology, and Dean Roberto Sombillo of the College of Nursing.
Also, the university is now offering new majors for the School of Business Administration in the Legarda Campus: Operations Management and Human Resource Development Management. The School of Business Administration is headed by Dean Bobby Verzosa.
The Elisa Esguerra Campus in Malabon City now offers Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology through Dean Victoriana Piliin of the School of Accountancy. In the College of Arts and Sciences Dean Amelita Torqueza announced the offering of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in English. Students can also enroll now in Bachelor of Science in Criminology under Dean Bryan Yang and Diploma in Midwifery, a 2- year course under Dean Ms. Cristina Ramajo.
Five new courses are now being offered in the Jose Abad Santos Campus in Pasay. These are Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in English, Bachelor of Arts in History, AB in Psychology with specialization in Guidance and Counseling and Guidance and Counseling Management under Dean Dr. Nenita Manongsong of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science is now offered in the Andres Bonifacio Campus in Pasig City in the College of Arts and Sciences under Dean Rafael Balignasay.
