 AU IN MANDALUYONG CITY NOW OFFERS COLLEGE COURSESPosted August 10, 2010
Starting with Hotel and Management and Tourism courses last year Arellano University Plaridel Campus in Mandaluyong City now offers seven new courses, making it the fifth branch of the university to offer tertiary courses.
The new courses are Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM), Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) major in Special education, Pre-School Education; General Education, Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSE ), major in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Social Studies, Biological Science, MAPEH and Values Education; and Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
Heading the different departments are Dr. Cristi Blandina M. Blandina , OIC, School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management ; Mr. Henry Davalos, Dean, College of Arts & Sciences and School of Education, Ms. Arlyn Orense, MBA, OIC, School of Computer Science; and Mr. Nathaniel Laxa, Dean, Bachelor of Science in Criminology.
The Plaridel Campus is located at 53 Kalentong Street, Mandaluyong City. It is the home of Plaridel High School established in January 1950, one of the more popular secondary schools for students coming from Mandaluyong City, San Juan City and the Paco District of Manila.
