 ARELLANO DEBATING TEAM WINSPosted October 28, 2008
THE ARELLANO UNIVERSITY Law Forensic Guild debating team beat Ateneo de Davao in the recent finals of the Square-off ANC CVC Law debates on the proposition: "Let it be resolved that: The term of elected local officials should be lifted."
Arellano debaters were Rochelle Marie C. Roxas, a fourth year executive class student and guild president; Luis Anthony K. Warren, a graduating student, and Charles Francis Decangchon, a freshman. Warren was the Texter's Choice for Best Speaker and the Judges' Choice as Best Speaker during the finals. Roxas was named Judges' Choice for Best Speaker during the elimination and quarterfinals. The competition started in June. Square-off ANC CVC Law debates were aired live on Channel 27 via Skycable.
