Alderson-Broaddus College (A-B) has been providing quality education for more than 140 years. Deeply rooted in the liberal arts, A-B is a health-related and professional educational institution. The nursing program of A-B started in 1945 as the first four-year baccalaureate nursing program in West Virginia. The A-B nursing program has been accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission since 1974. In addition the program is approved by the West Virginia State Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses. A-B’s campus is situated in College Hill Drive, overlooking the picturesque Tygart River Valley.
Alderson-Broaddus College is AU’s partner for the International Nursing Program which leads to an American Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a large multi-campus institution that was awarded university status in 1991.
