The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has officially granted Arellano University with a Transnational Education License (TNE) to conduct and operate its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in partnership with Alderson-Broaddus College (A-B) of West Virginia, USA. The license was issued December 16, 2010.  This makes the International Nursing Program (INP) of the university the first and only nursing program in the Philippines with a transnational education license.

AU’s international nursing partnership with A-B is a four-year BSN program that allows students to take their first three years at the AU Legarda campus, using the American curriculum of A-B.  For their final year, the students transfer to the A-B campus in Philippi, West Virginia, USA to earn their American BSN degree.

The program has produced two graduates already. Currently, there are three INP students studying at the Alderson Broaddus College. The third batch of INP students is expected to transfer to A-B next semester.
