In partnership with the National Tertiary Education Consortium of Auckland, New Zealand
Computer Science students of AU also have the option of pursuing their education in New Zealand and earn a Diploma in IT. The National Tertiary Education Consortium of Auckland, New Zealand partnered with AU in November of 2010, to offer students, who finish the first two years of their Computer Science course in AU, the opportunity to transfer to their campus in the heart of Auckland. After a year of study, the students will earn the Level 6 Diploma in Computing from the National Technology Institute, a school under NTEC. The Diploma in Computing Level 6 is recognized and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Students with the qualification become eligible to enter a degree level program in New Zealand. The program is specifically designed to prepare students with a fundamental understanding of computing and information technology concepts, for a rewarding career in network and database development and administration.
