About the INP
On June 14, 2006, Arellano University formally launched its International
Nursing Program (INP), an innovative and unprecedented
international nursing partnership between Arellano University

a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Students will attend classes for the first three years at
the Arellano campus with the opportunity
to complete their education on their
senior year at the Alderson Broaddus

Curriculum
The INP is
a joint
international nursing program whereby the curriculum of an
American baccalaureate nursing program is implemented in the
Philippines at Arellano University to better prepare nursing
students for the practice of registered professional nursing in
the United States.
Once a student
enrolls in the program, progression within the course sequence depends
upon the student’s ability to maintain the academic requirements
of the
Alderson-Broaddus College.
Students
with excellent grades entering their fourth year will
transfer to Alderson-Broaddus college in the USA, where they
will be granted subsidized tuition,
board and lodging, airfare, and other schooling privileges.
Faculty
A team of highly-qualified instructors and nursing faculty trained in AB will teach the
program. Faculty members periodically meet with their
counterparts at the Alderson-Broaddus College to synchronize
teaching methodologies and upgrade each other’s standards. The
serious intent to impose the strictest teaching
quality standards is seen in the personal commitment of Arellano
university President Francisco Cayco and Alderson-Broaddus
College President Stephen Markwood.
