 CENTRAL GUIDANCE OFFICEThe primary task of the Central Guidance Office is to provide counseling services to all students as well as to recognized campus organizations. A director heads this office.
Guidance and counseling services are provided to help the students develop their total personality. Advisory services are extended to assist student organizations undertake projects productively.
Of particularly concern to this office is the welfare of students who are encountering problems. These problems could be related with their studies, their association with faculty, fellow students, and other colleagues on campus, and even with their relationships at home or in the community, that have direct or indirect bearing on their performance in school.
The office likewise guides students in setting their career objectives and in identifying adequate means to achieve them through career planning. It also provides individual inventory, testing, information, orientation, placement and follow-up services.
